Trevor Peagler joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in March of 2025 as a SOC Analyst Intern. In this role, he monitors and analyzes client systems, investigates potential threats, and documents the details of incidents. Previously, Trevor was interning with Western Dakota Technical with a wide berth of responsibilities as well as attending school there. He chose BHIS because of the community work they do, saying “it’s incredible to see a company so willing and ready to assist everyone from beginners to veterans in their field and to make the information so accessible.” His favorite part is how willing his coworkers are to teach and answer questions. Outside of work, Trevor can be found playing video games, spending time with family, and enjoying time in the great outdoors: fishing, camping, hunting, and more.
