Randy LeFever joined the Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) team in 2021 as a Web Developer, working on developing a web-based control panel to help manage the Cyber Range access, integrating it with Paypal, and learning to be a SOC Analyst. Prior to joining the BHIS team, Randy served in the US Navy as a Submarine Nuclear–Trained Electrician and helped run his family-owned computer store, PCSource. Randy had heard of BHIS’s reputation of being the best in the business, and he enjoys experiencing new areas of computer work and having a team of knowledgeable people willing to assist at a moment’s request. Outside of work, Randy enjoys hiking, woodworking, and swimming but tends to gravitate to doing something on the computer (web design, learning to use languages, or building Raspberry PI/Arduino projects).
