Fernando Panizza began working with Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in March of 2022 as a Security Analyst. In this role, he tests client’s security posture and produces reports detailing the conducted tests and results. He chose to join the team because “BHIS sucks at capitalism, and I wanted to do cool stuff with cool people.” Fernando’s prior experience includes pentesting, incident response, SOC analysis, and system administration. The thing he most values about BHIS is the people and the culture. Outside of work, Fernando enjoys playing guitar (or “making noises,” as he would say), practicing martial arts, and hacking-related things like CTFs or similar challenges.
