Chris Sullo joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in early 2024 as a Security Analyst. In this role, he “breaks things and then writes reports about it” with a focus on penetration testing web applications. Previously, Chris performed various roles related to penetration testing including research, management, sales, software development, and of course testing, in financial services, consulting, and security software companies. He chose BHIS because of their work for the community, reputation for quality, and support of the industry. He thinks the best part is the people and their caring, for not only security, but each other and everyone in the community. Outside of work, Chris can be found reading, writing, walking, collecting vinyl, watching bad movies, and cooking.
