Daniel Lowrie joined Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) in late 2024 as a Content Creator. In this role, he creates content for Antisyphon & BHIS, including training content for the Antisyphon course catalogue. Previously, Daniel worked as a systems and network administrator from 2006-2014, and made IT/cybersecurity skills and certification training videos for ITProTV/ACI Learning from 2014-2024. He chose BHIS because of their reputation, content, and philosophy. He thinks the best part is the people; he says, “Everyone at BHIS is smart, passionate, helpful, nice, fun, and genuinely interested in helping people.” When he’s not working, Daniel can be found playing guitar and retro games, and spending quality time with his wife and 3 kids.
